Truck drivers of all nationalities, who are entering Greece through its land borders are exempt from the obligation to provide a negative PCR test. The exemption has been officially published on the National Gazette ref B/3399 on 13.08.2020.
As of 19/08/2020, the border checkpoints between Bulgaria and Greece, open for heavy goods vehicles over 3.5 tons, remain:
- Kapitan Petko Voivoda – Ormenio / operating between 07:00-23:00
- Kulata-Promachona /operates 24 hours a day
Makaza-Nimfea border checkpoint is open for vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes. Crossing is allowed between 07:00 – 23:00.
Ilinden-Exohi border checkpoint remains closed.
